another good work. I like the sun dogs, or whatever the atmospheric effects the multiple shockwaves have. And considering that big J has no surface, the impact would have been more akin to a water impact, so you got it right. And anyway, it's grande - that's what matters the most.

Hate to detract from your spectacular work, but Jupiter is a gas giant - it doesn't have a surface upon which anything could impact...

Of course it don't have a surface...
But the pressures and heat in the cloud top layers causes asteroid or a comet to burst and explode.
There was a few events then earth based telescopes and HSP witnessed massive explosions at Jupiter's cloud tops then comet and asteroids hit it. Here some video's:
