I haven't been thinking about space art lately...  Then I stumbled upon this, and your other work.  It's nice to see the tradition of realistic space art isn't dying.  Your work reminds me of the excitement I felt looking at books such as "The Grand Tour" and "Out of the Cradle" back in the eighties.  Keep it up!

Despite the barren desert, this is my favorite of your various landscapes so far.  I'd love to hang it on a wall someday.

Originally they not supposed to be related, but there are some similarities. I would like to think that this is the same system, but the gas giant planets are slightly different. This one have a ring and the one in "water moon" does not have one.

Oh yeah, the ring. I think I just forgot its absence on the water moon image.
Pretty neat concepts and relations. What's next? :P

Hmmm. Maybe another volcanic moon, or some airless moon....

One ticket for First Class with Landing Rights and Dessication Life Insurance, please. I like the deep blues of the sky with scant atmosphere. Just one thing: the combination of shadows and the lit/unlit pattern on the ringed giant feels weird, as if it doesn't correspond. But I like everything anyway, as usual.

Such a gorgeous view, and I love how you used shadow to show the detail of the planet's rings. :D
